There is plenty of generational divide, even between younger millennials and older Gen Z. Part of this has to do with the introduction of smart technology. You see, many of us remember a time when watching a movie meant getting out the DVR player and your Disney box set, and listening to music meant lugging around your cumbersome MP3 player, or an OG iPod. And for those of us who went to high school in the age of the Samsung and Nokia blocks, you better believe we could send rapid no-look texts by tapping the number "7" three times for the letter "S." Only the popular kids got the "Sidekick."

So the next time your teenager complains that the wi-fi is slow, remind them that they can still use it while someone on the house is on the phone, because that wasn't always the case either.
